KPIs for Operational Performance Assessment in Flexible Packaging Industry

The flexible packaging industry has registered a significant growth over the last years, especially due to rising demand from healthcare, automotive, construction, food, beverage, and retail industries. It is essential for production plants regularly assess their ability achieve performance target objectives and, at same time, compare with that of factories industry. By combining qualitative quantitative research, this study proposes set thirty-two key indicators (KPIs), grouped into six activity areas, believed be adequate industry, assessing operational performance. analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method was employed obtain weights KPIs select best manufacturing facility leading company in line opinions experts activate field. results indicated main aspects considered by were financial issues followed production, customers contentment, quality, employee satisfaction environmental protection. proposed practical framework along detailed information obtained paper are expected represent important benchmarks stakeholders involved decision-making
